Job summary

Fres-co System USA, Inc. in Chicago, IL seeks a Project Superintendent to lead all on-site field activities, supervise the Assistant Project Superintendent(s) and Field Engineers, and manage subcontractors and vendors across complex projects.

You will develop site logistics, safety programs, and schedules, while mentoring staff and ensuring adherence to plans, contracts, and safety standards on a full-time, on-site basis.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree or equivalent experience in construction management related field.

Responsibilities

• Manage field activities and supervision of subcontractors and field staff.
• Develop project site logistics and safety programs.
• Maintain baseline schedules (P6 or MS Project) and update weekly look-ahead schedules.
• Coordinate material deliveries and subcontractor scopes of work.
• Prepare and maintain field documentation including daily reports and time sheets.
• Mentor junior staff and lead project team meetings.
• Ensure compliance with safety, QA/QC, and regulatory requirements.
