Job summary

Asset Living is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to oversee daily operations and financial functions of a housing community under the Community Manager. You will supervise on-site staff, manage leasing, marketing and resident relations, ensure compliance with fair housing and safety guidelines, and support budgeting and NOI goals.

The role requires a high school diploma (bachelor's preferred or 2 years housing experience) and proficiency with on-site software; Asset Living offers

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or two years housing industry experience.
• Ability to understand and perform onsite software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Post payments and income accurately from residents and applicants.
• Process and reconcile daily accounts receivable.
• Monitor bad debt and assist with late notices and evictions.
• Assist in meeting budgeted revenues, expenses, and Net Operating Income.
• Close end-of-month procedures and maintain records.
• Inspect properties and ensure timely repairs."
• Lead onsite staff through training, coaching, and guidance.
• Plan leasing, marketing, and resident retention strategies.
