Job summary

Asset Living in California is seeking a Community Manager to oversee all on-site operations of a housing community under the Regional Manager. You will supervise staff, manage leasing, maintenance, finance and risk, and ensure compliance with policies and fair housing guidelines.

As an on-site leader, you will develop annual budgets, lead marketing plans, and ensure resident satisfaction through proactive service, timely rent collection, and strong vendor management.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
• Experience in housing operations and on-site management is a plus.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the housing community operations on-site.
• Supervise staff, provide coaching, and enforce company policies.
• Develop annual operating budgets and manage leasing strategies.
• Ensure resident satisfaction and handle complaints professionally.
• Monitor rental payments, deposits, and vendor invoices.
• Lead emergency response and maintain property safety standards.
