Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Community Manager to oversee all operations of a housing community on-site, under supervision of the Regional Manager. You will manage personnel, leasing, maintenance, finances, admin, and risk while ensuring safety, fair housing compliance, and policy adherence.

Lead budgeting, marketing plans, and resident relations; supervise staff performance and training; address resident concerns and ensure timely reporting and inspections.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or four year’s experience in the housing industry; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all on-site operations of a housing community under the Regional Manager.
• Supervise staff, leasing, maintenance, finance, administration & risk management.
• Develop yearly operating budgets/forecasts and monitor vendor invoices.
• Promote resident retention, handle complaints, show and lease units.
• Lead emergency response and ensure safety, compliance with policies.
