Job summary

Asset Living is seeking an Assistant Community Manager in Seabrook, TX to oversee daily operations and financial functions of a housing community as the Community Manager’s on-site representative. You will supervise staff, leasing, maintenance, and risk management while ensuring compliance with company policies and fair housing guidelines.

You will handle rent collection, postings, and monthly closings, with emphasis on cash flow and NOI.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or two years housing industry experience; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and financial functions of the housing community under supervision of the Community Manager.
• Manage delinquency and rent collection to optimize cash flow and financial position.
• Supervise staff, leasing, maintenance, administration and risk management in the absence of the Community Manager.
• Post payments and income accurately and timely; reconcile receivables; monitor bad debt and file evictions as needed.
• Contribute to budget attainment, COI bonuses, and ensure compliance with company policies and fair housing guidelines.

Education
