Asset Living is seeking an Assistant Community Manager in McKinney, TX, to oversee daily operations and financial functions under the Community Manager. You will drive rent collection, financial reporting, and staff coordination onsite, ensuring compliance with policies and fair housing standards.

The role emphasizes delinquency control, customer service, and operational leadership across leasing, maintenance, and administration in a fast-paced multifamily environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or two years housing industry experience.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use onsite software.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Post payments and income accurately and timely.
• Process and reconcile daily accounts receivable.
• Monitor bad debt and file evictions.
• Help meet budgeted revenues, expenses, and Net Operating Income.
• Post charges to resident accounts and utilities.
• Close end-of-month reporting.
• Maintain organized records and audit files.
• Walk units and post move-out charges and security deposits.
