Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Community Manager to oversee all operations of a housing community on-site, reporting to the Regional Manager. You will supervise staff, leasing, maintenance, and financial administration to ensure operational excellence.

You will develop yearly operating budgets, monitor rent collections and expenses, and ensure compliance with Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements. Strong leadership and customer service are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred, or equivalent experience in housing.
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
• Ability to understand and perform on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all operations of the housing community on-site under Regional Manager supervision.
• Screen, hire, train, coach, and develop on-site staff; conduct regular performance reviews.
• Manage leasing, maintenance, finance, and administrative activities; ensure risk management compliance.
• Develop yearly operating budgets/forecasts and monitor deposits, rent collections, and charges.
• Lead emergency response and ensure safety and customer service standards are met.
• Plan yearly marketing and leasing strategies; monitor vendor invoices and reporting.
