Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Community Manager to oversee operations of a housing community on-site, supervising staff, leasing, maintenance, and risk management. You will ensure compliance with policies and fair housing guidelines while driving occupancy and financial performance.

The role emphasizes leadership, budgeting, and resident satisfaction, with opportunities for professional growth within Asset Living’s national portfolio.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred or four year’s experience in the housing industry.
• CAM or ARM certification preferred.
• Basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all on-site personnel management and staff development.
• Ensure regular onsite attendance and adherence to policies.
• Develop annual operating budgets and monitor income and expenses.
• Lead leasing, marketing plans, and resident screening to achieve closures.
• Ensure safety, compliance, and liability concerns.
• Coordinate maintenance, vendor invoices, and service request turnaround.
• Plan emergency response with staff and residents.
