Job summary

Asset Living is hiring an Assistant Community Manager to oversee daily operations and financial functions of a housing community under the Community Manager. You will manage rent collection, delinquencies, and cash flow while supervising onsite staff, leasing, maintenance, and administration.

As an onsite leader, you will ensure policy compliance, fair housing practices, and risk management, while driving occupancy, budgeting, and resident satisfaction through strategic leasing and retention

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred or 2 years in housing industry, or equivalent
• Ability to perform onsite software functions; basic computer skills required
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements
• Strong organizational and leadership abilities

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and financial functions of the housing community under Community Manager supervision
• Manage rent collection, delinquencies, and cash flow optimization
• Supervise staff, leasing, maintenance, and administrative activities; ensure compliance with policies
• Support strategic leasing, marketing, and resident retention efforts
• Ensure accurate records, reporting, and end-of-month closings
