Job summary

Asset Living seeks a Community Manager to oversee the operations of a housing community under Regional Manager guidance. You will supervise staff, handle leasing, maintenance, budgeting, and risk management while ensuring compliance with policies and fair housing standards.

The role requires strong leadership, on-site presence, and the ability to coordinate between leasing, maintenance, and administrative functions to deliver excellent resident service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred or four years experience in housing.
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
• Basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Personnel management and onsite staff supervision per company policies.
• Manage leasing, maintenance, finance, administration and risk on-site.
• Develop yearly operating budgets and marketing plans.
• Ensure compliance with safety, fair housing, and company procedures.
• Lead emergency response and customer service for residents.
• Schedule staff, monitor performance, and provide coaching.

Education

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Bachelor’s degree preferred

4 years experience in housing industry or related

Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred
