Asset Living in Everett, WA is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to oversee daily operations and financial functions of the housing community under the Community Manager. You will manage rent collection, supervise onsite staff, ensure fair housing compliance, and engage residents with retention and leasing strategies.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, budgeting, and operational excellence in a fast-growing portfolio.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required; Bachelor's preferred or related experience considered.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with onsite software tools.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Post payments and income accurately for residents and applicants.
• Process and reconcile daily accounts receivable.
• Monitor bad debt, issue late notices, and handle evictions.
• Support budgeting to meet Net Operating Income targets.
• Post charges and utilities billing; manage month-end close.
• Maintain organized records and audit resident files.
• Inspect units and process move-out charges and security deposits.
• Supervise onsite staff; hire, train, coach as needed.
• Ensure compliance with policies, safety, and fair housing.
• Collaborate on marketing and leasing strategies.
