Job summary

Greystar in Raleigh, NC is seeking an on-site Assistant Community Manager to support the Community Manager with financial operations, rent collection, invoicing, and reporting using Yardi, OneSite, and Entrata.

You will review resident accounts for delinquencies, enforce lease terms, and coordinate with maintenance to ensure community operations run smoothly. This is a full-time, on-site role offering a strong benefits package and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Communications, or related field preferred.
• 1–3 years experience in residence life and/or property management.
• Understanding of lease terms and lease enforcement, including collections.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and self-motivated; able to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Completes daily financial operations: rent collection, deposits, reconciliations, reports, and payable processing.
• Operates property management software (Yardi/OneSite/Entrata) accurately and performs backups.
• Reviews resident files to identify unpaid balances; communicates with residents and enforces lease terms.
• Reviews and processes vendor invoices, codes charges, and coordinates with vendors and owners.
• Follows eviction procedures and handles move-outs per policies and legal requirements.
• Responds to resident questions and requests to promote satisfaction and retention.
• Assists in on-site supervision and coordinates maintenance and make-ready tasks.
• Supports leasing and marketing efforts by greeting prospects and assisting with applications.
