Job summary

Greystar seeks an on-site Assistant Community Manager to support the Community Manager in overseeing financial and operational aspects of the property. You will handle daily financial tasks, rent collections, and reporting while ensuring residents’ satisfaction and lease compliance.

The role emphasizes collaboration with maintenance teams, leasing staff, and owners, with opportunities to contribute to leasing support and guest services while maintaining high service standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Communications, or related field is preferred.
• 1–3 years minimum of relevant experience in residence life and/or property management that demonstrates managing day-to-day operations, revenue, and customer service.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; detail-oriented and self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Performs daily financial operations: collect rent, process payments, prepare deposits, and reconcile bank statements.
• Operates property management software (Yardi/OneSite/Entrata) and records all transactions accurately.
• Reviews resident accounts for delinquencies, communicates balances, and enforces lease terms to maximize revenue.
• Prepares and submits invoices, codes charges, and coordinates with vendors and owners.
