Job summary

Greystar seeks an on-site Assistant Community Manager to oversee the financial and operational tasks of the community. You’ll handle rent collection, deposits, reporting, and vendor invoicing while using Yardi/OneSite/Entrata to maintain accurate financial records.

You will supervise daily activities, coordinate maintenance, and support leasing efforts while ensuring compliance with lease terms and company policies. Strong communication and organization are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Communications, or related field.
• 1-3 years minimum of relevant experience in residence life and/or property management.
• Understanding of lease terms and lease enforcement, including collections.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as a team member.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily financial operations: collect rent, prepare deposits, and reconcile accounts.
• Operate property management software (Yardi/OneSite/Entrata) accurately.
• Review resident files to identify unpaid balances and enforce collections.
• Process invoices, code expenses, and liaise with vendors and owners.
• Support leasing and marketing by assisting prospective residents and processing applications.
