Job summary

Greystar is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to support the Community Manager in overseeing financial and operational aspects of the community. Responsibilities include accounting, reporting, rent collection, and using property management software to track financial activity.

The role involves processing invoices, deposits, evictions, move-outs, and maintaining owner communications while ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience in property management or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in residence life or property management.
• Strong understanding of lease terms and enforcement, including collections.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily financial operations: collect/rent, deposits, reconcile accounts, and generate financial reports.
• Operate property management software (Yardi/OneSite/Entrata) and ensure data integrity.
• Review resident files for unpaid fees, communicate with residents, and enforce leases.
• Process vendor invoices for payment, code charges, and coordinate with client/owner.
