Job summary

Greystar in Austin, TX seeks an Assistant Community Manager to support the on-site operations of a residential community. You will handle daily financial tasks, rent processing, bank deposits, and reporting, while using Yardi/OneSite/Entrata to keep records accurate and up to date.

The role requires 1–3 years in property management, a bachelor’s degree preferred, strong communication, detail orientation, and the ability to work with leasing and service teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business Management, Communications or related field.
• 1–3 years minimum of relevant experience in residence life or property management.
• Understanding of lease terms and lease enforcement, including collections.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and self-motivated with ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Collects rent, fees, and other payments and posts transactions.
• Operates Yardi/OneSite/Entrata and maintains data integrity.
• Reviews resident accounts to identify unpaid or late balances and enforces collections.
• Reviews invoices from vendors and coordinates payments with approvals.
• Follows eviction procedures as required and handles move-outs per terms.
• Responds to resident questions and service requests to maintain satisfaction.
• Serves as on-site supervisor in the manager's absence and coordinates maintenance tasks.
• Supports leasing/marketing by greeting prospects and assisting applicants as needed.
