Job summary

Greystar in Austin, TX seeks an Assistant Community Manager to oversee the financial operations of an apartment community. You will perform daily transactions, process invoices, collect rent, run bank deposits, and generate monthly financial reports using Yardi or OneSite.

The role supports the Community Manager, may supervise on-site staff, handle resident communications, enforce lease terms, and assist with leasing efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in business, management, or related field.
• 1–3 years of property management experience to support day-to-day operations.
• Experience resolving customer issues, managing financial records, and coordinating a team.

Responsibilities

• Collects rent, fees and other payments; processes invoices and payables.
• Uses Yardi/OneSite to record financial transactions and run backups.
• Reviews resident files to identify unpaid or late balances and enforces lease terms.
• Reviews and submits vendor invoices; coordinates with owners and accounting.
• Supports on-site supervision; coordinates maintenance and make-ready tasks.
• Assists leasing and marketing by greeting prospects and supporting application processes.
