Job summary

Greystar seeks an Assistant Community Manager to support the onsite team in overseeing financial operations for a rental community. You will handle rent collection, accounts payable, daily deposits, and monthly close-outs using Yardi/OneSite, ensuring accurate reporting and timely vendor payments.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 1–3 years in property management or residence life, with strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Communications, or related field preferred.
• 1–3 years minimum of relevant experience in residence life and/or property management.
• Understanding of lease terms and lease enforcement, including collections.

Responsibilities

• Completes daily transactions related to financial operations including rent collection and payments.
• Operates property management software (Yardi/OneSite) with accurate data entry and backups.
• Reviews resident files to determine unpaid balances and enforces lease terms to maximize revenue.
• Audits and submits invoices from vendors for payment and coordinates with accounting and owners.
• Supports evictions and move-outs per policy and procedures.
• Interacts with residents to resolve issues and promote satisfaction.
• Assists in managing client/owner relationships and supports leasing activities to achieve occupancy goals.
