Job summary

Asset Living, a nationwide property management firm, seeks an Assistant Community Manager in Reno, NV to oversee daily operations, leasing, maintenance, and financial functions for the community. The role reports to the Community Manager and focuses on cash flow optimization and adherence to policies.

Responsibilities include handling payments, reconciling accounts, supervising staff, and ensuring fair housing and safety compliance, with a strong emphasis on tenant service and team coordination.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or two years experience in housing industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to understand and perform all onsite software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Post payments and income accurately (residents and applicants).
• Reconcile daily accounts receivable and monitor collections.
• Supervise onsite staff; hire, train, coach, and develop team.
• Maintain property appearance; supervise maintenance and inspections.
• Plan resources, obtain bids, and manage vendor relations.
