Job summary

Asset Living seeks an Assistant Community Manager in Iowa City, IA to oversee daily operations under the Community Manager, including leasing, maintenance, and financial functions. You will support delinquency management, optimize cash flow, and ensure adherence to company policies.

As onsite leader, you will supervise staff, maintain records, address resident concerns, and help drive marketing and resident retention programs while upholding fair housing guidelines and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Two years housing industry experience or related experience.
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of Fair Housing Laws.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations under the Community Manager's supervision.
• Manage delinquency and rent collection to optimize cash flow.
• Supervise on-site staff, leasing, maintenance, and admin tasks.
• Ensure compliance with policies, safety and fair housing guidelines.
• Coordinate marketing and resident retention programs.
