Job summary

Asset Living is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to oversee daily operations and financial functions of the housing community under the Community Manager's supervision. You will supervise onsite staff, ensure compliance with policies, safety and fair housing guidelines.

Responsibilities include posting payments, reconciling receivables, following up on bad debt, assisting in budget and NOI targets, leasing and showing units, and handling resident inquiries to promote satisfaction and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or two years housing industry experience.
• Ability to understand and perform all onsite software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and financial functions of the housing community.
• Post payments and reconcile accounts receivable and income.
• Monitor bad debt: issues late notices, contact residents/guarantors, file evictions.
• Assist property in meeting budgeted revenues, expenses, and NOI.
• Post charges to resident accounts and bill back utilities where applicable.
• Conduct end-of-month closings and reporting; maintain organized records.
• Walk units, post move-out charges, issue refunds; ensure compliance with policies.
• Show, lease, and move-in prospective residents; ensure service through leasing strategies.
• Supervise onsite staff and provide coaching to ensure policy compliance and performance.
