Job summary

Asset Living is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to oversee daily operations and financial functions of a housing community under the Community Manager. You will play a vital role in rent delinquency management to optimize cash flow and financial position, and supervise on-site staff to ensure compliance with policies and fair housing guidelines.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s preferred or 2 years housing).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s preferred or 2 years housing industry experience.
• Ability to understand and perform all onsite software functions.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Post and reconcile payments and income; manage delinquency and collections.
• Supervise onsite staff; train, coach and develop staff; ensure policy compliance.
• Monitor and improve resident satisfaction; implement retention programs and leasing strategies.
• Plan and oversee administrative tasks; manage records, budgeting, and reporting.
