Job summary

Asset Living, a nationwide property management partner, is hiring an Assistant Community Manager to support daily operations and financial functions under the Community Manager. You will help maximize cash flow through delinquency management, leasing, and risk oversight, while leading onsite staff and ensuring compliance.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, with Bachelor’s preferred or 2 years in housing.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or two years housing industry experience.
• Ability to understand and perform onsite software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and financial functions under the Community Manager.
• Manage rent collection, delinquency and cash flow to meet budgeted NOI.
• Post payments, reconcile accounts receivable, and issue late notices as needed.
• Hire, train, coach and develop onsite staff to meet company directives.
• Ensure compliance with policies, safety, and fair housing guidelines.
• Perform property inspections and maintain records; monitor maintenance and vendor relations.
