Job summary

Asset Living is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to oversee daily operations and financial functions of a housing community under the Community Manager. You will help manage delinquency, cash flow, leasing, maintenance, and risk while supervising staff on-site according to company policies.

Responsibilities include posting payments, reconciling receivables, budgeting, leasing strategies, and resident relations, with emphasis on compliance and service quality in a fast-growing real estate

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; additional degree preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred or 2 years housing industry experience.
• Ability to understand onsite software and basic computer skills.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Post payments and income accurately and timely.
• Process and reconcile daily accounts receivable.
• Monitor bad debt; issue late notices and assist evictions.
• Support budgeted revenues, expenses, and NOI.
• Post charges to accounts and bill back utilities when applicable.
• Complete end-of-month closing procedures and reporting.
• Maintain organized records; audit resident files.
• Walk units; post move-out charges and deposits.
• Supervise onsite staff and ensure policy compliance.
• Implement leasing management and marketing plans.

Education

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Bachelor’s degree preferred or 2 years housing experience
