Job summary

Greystar is seeking an on-site Community Accountant to support financial operations for the community. Responsibilities include collecting rent, posting payments, reconciling accounts, and generating monthly financial reports using property management software.

You will work closely with the Community Manager to ensure lease compliance, approve vendor invoices, and maintain strong resident relations while contributing to overall revenue optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Communications, or related field; 1–3 years in residence life or property management preferred.
• Understanding of lease terms and enforcement, including collections.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; detail-oriented and self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Collects rent and payments, posts transactions, and prepares financial reports.
• Operates Yardi/OneSite and maintains data integrity in the system.
• Reviews resident accounts for delinquencies and enforces lease terms to maximize revenue.
• Reviews vendor invoices, codes charges, and coordinates approvals with managers and owners.
• Supports on-site operations, housing and maintenance coordination, and resident relations.
