Job summary

Greystar is seeking an on-site Community Accountant to support the Community Manager by handling daily financial operations, rent processing, and reporting. You will use property management software to ensure accurate records, timely invoicing, and proper reconciliation of accounts.

The role requires 1–3 years in property management or related accounting, with a Bachelor’s degree preferred and strong communication skills. Onsite housing discounts and robust benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred with 1–3 years in residence life or property management or related field.
• Experience in accounting/bookkeeping for a property management context is required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Collects rent and payments, posts transactions, and reconciles bank deposits.
• Manages accounts payable/receivable and processes invoices for payment.
• Prepares monthly close-out and financial reports.
• Ensures lease terms are enforced and collaborates with the community manager.
• Uses Yardi/OneSite/Entrata to record and report financial activity.
