Job summary

Greystar in St. Louis is seeking a Community Finance Assistant to support the Community Manager with accounting and daily financial operations. Responsibilities include rent collection, deposits, and reporting using leading property management software.

You will handle invoices, reconciliations, and ensure lease terms are enforced to maximize revenue while delivering strong resident service and coordinating with maintenance and leasing teams.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years minimum of relevant experience in residence life and/or property management that demonstrates the application of community management, sales, marketing, and customer service background sufficient to assist in managing the day-to-day operations of an apartment community.

Responsibilities

• Collects rent, fees, and other payments; completes daily bank deposits and reconciles bank accounts.
• Operates Yardi/OneSite/Entrata and records financial transactions accurately.
• Reviews resident files to determine unpaid or late fees and enforces lease terms to maximize revenue.
• Reviews and submits invoices for payment; codes charges and coordinates with vendors and owners as needed.
• Assists in evictions and move-outs per policy; supports on-site operations and owner communications.
• Promotes resident satisfaction by addressing complaints promptly and coordinating maintenance tasks.
