Job summary

Greystar in Katy, Texas seeks an experienced Assistant Community Manager to support the Community Manager in handling financial operations, invoicing, rent collection, and reporting. You will use Yardi/OneSite/Entrata to track financials and reconcile accounts, and you will participate in maintaining resident relations and lease enforcement.

The role emphasizes accuracy, timely communication, and collaboration with maintenance and leasing teams. On-site work with competitive benefits is provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; 1–3 years experience in residence life or property management.
• Understanding of lease terms and lease enforcement, including collections.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Collect rent, fees, and other payments; prepare daily deposits and bank reconciliations.
• Operate property management software (Yardi/OneSite; Entrata) and ensure data accuracy.
• Review resident files to determine unpaid/late fees; communicate with residents; pursue delinquencies.
• Review and submit vendor invoices; coordinate with accounting and owners; code charges correctly.
• Follow eviction procedures and represent the community in court hearings as needed.
• Process move-outs; apply deposits and lease terms; close dispositions per procedures.
• Promote resident satisfaction by addressing complaints and service requests; resolve issues promptly.
• Act as on-site supervisor when manager is absent; coordinate maintenance and make-ready tasks.
