Job summary

SPS is seeking a Client Service Manager (Shipping & Receiving) to work on-site with our client and oversee multiple sites. You will manage daily service delivery, staff supervision, and client satisfaction while upholding SPS policies.

The role requires forklift certification, strong relationship-building with executives, and proven leadership. Travel up to 25% and responsibility for budgets, P&L, and KPI/SLAs.

Qualifications

• Forklift certification required.
• High School Diploma (or equivalent) required.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in relationship building and operational management.
• Previous management/supervisor experience overseeing 5-10 employees.
• Ability to interact effectively with C-level executives.
• Solid selling skills and client-focused approach.
• Industry experience is a plus.
• Proven diplomacy and ownership in client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily service delivery across multiple sites.
• Manage site staff and vendor partners; ensure SLA compliance.
• Monitor KPIs/SLAs and client satisfaction; report metrics.
• Ensure adherence to SPS policies and safety standards.
• Coordinate staff schedules, PTO, and coverage for absences.
• Maintain site P&L and manage budgets; payroll and billing deadlines.
