SPS is seeking an on-site Operations Manager in Bloomington, IL to lead day-to-day operations, shipping/receiving, and the mailroom with a hands-on leadership style. You’ll oversee a small team, ensure staffing coverage, and coach members to deliver excellent service in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements include 3–5 years in operations or related fields, forklift experience, and a high school diploma. Expect a competitive salary range with benefits and opportunities for growth as you partner

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in operations, shipping/receiving, or related environment.
• Be available Monday–Friday during business hours with some weekend availability.
• Forklift experience is required; certification preferred or to be obtained as needed.
• Experience supervising or coordinating a small team.
• Hands-on approach with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; customer-focused.
• Ability to troubleshoot and make decisions independently; basic computer skills.
• Commitment to safety, accuracy, and operational excellence.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Responsabilités

• Supervise and support a small on-site team with coaching and feedback.
• Assign daily responsibilities, staffing, and coverage.
• Train team on processes, safety, equipment, and customer service expectations.
• Monitor performance and address issues timely and professionally.
• Develop team members and identify growth/cross-training opportunities.
• Oversee shipping, receiving, mailroom, and related activities.
• Coordinate receipt, processing, movement, and distribution of items.
• Operate and oversee safe use of forklift and material-handling equipment.
• Maintain accurate records and monitor workflow for smooth operations.
• Serve as primary client operational contact and build relationships.
