Job summary

IDEA Public Schools seeks a Campus Technician to facilitate Technology Operations requests on site and support staff with hardware, software, and lab setup. You will partner with campus leadership to drive projects, trainings, and deployment of staff computers, ensuring reliable technology across campuses.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, timely issue resolution, and proactive communication to keep classrooms functioning smoothly and securely.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma Required; Bachelor’s Degree Preferred.
• Experience: Two years of technical support experience.
• Knowledge: Computer hardware and software; ability to analyze and resolve problems.

Responsibilities

• Work with APO on campus technology requests.
• Communicate with all clients within 24 hours about repairs.
• Partner with Helpdesk manager on reporting to identify and track goals and trends.
• Complete standard tickets on time and follow up with customers.
• Educate end users after a job is complete to share knowledge and best practices.
• Check back with customer to ensure reliability after service.
