Job summary

Mission Consolidated Independent School District in Texas is seeking a non-exempt Technology Support Technician to manage the computer and network infrastructure. You will respond to help-desk requests from campus staff, install and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, and coordinate with technology staff for repairs.

The role requires strong knowledge of Windows environments, Office and Google G-Suite, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service in a dynamic school

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Windows and Google G-Suite.
• Experience repairing computer hardware and peripheral devices.
• Knowledge of computer hardware and software applications.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to attend training in computer technology repairs.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical support for campus staff.
• Assist with setup and maintenance of computer hardware and software.
• Manage student accounts in Active Directory.
• Assist with the student information system and reports.
• Setup audiovisual equipment for meetings and instruction.
• Perform software/hardware upgrades and repair network cabling.
• Log requests in the help desk system and monitor progress.
• Conduct inventory of technology equipment.
• Prepare training materials and sessions on instructional software.
