Job summary

Republic Finance is offering an on-site Branch Operations Internship for current juniors or seniors pursuing a Finance or Business focus. You will learn daily branch operations, loan processes, and cross-functional exposure while earning $15.00 per hour with the potential for full-time employment after graduation.

The program provides hands-on experience and exposure to regions, with leadership training and potential career paths within Republic Finance.

Qualifications

• Junior or Senior majoring in Business, Finance, or related field.
• Eager to learn, enthusiastic, and reliable with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work a minimum of 18–20 hours per week.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Able to meet eligibility for insurance licensing after background checks.

Responsibilities

• Become licensed and go through an accelerated version of the Assistant Branch Manager Program to learn the loan process and all necessary regulatory training.
• Assist in daily production of loan origination, processing, closings and fundings including allocating files for doc prep; auditing closed files; prep files ready to fund.
• Spend time with your Manager and Regional Vice President learning about responsibilities at their levels to understand the promotional path to see what your career potential is with Republic Finance.
• Attend regional meetings and/or workshops to gain exposure to the larger Branch Operations division of the company.
• Learn about one or more Branch Operations process improvement related projects.
• Learn about corporate roles where Branch backgrounds are often strongly desired (Audit, Compliance, Training, Recruiting, etc.). We will also provide you with an overview of our benefits during the program.
