Job summary

Republic Finance, LLC is offering a Branch Operations Intern program for current juniors or seniors in college pursuing a Finance or Business focus. The internship is 100% onsite and pays $15.00 per hour, with the potential for full-time employment after graduation.

Intern responsibilities include learning branch operations, assisting with loan processes, and engaging in process-improvement projects across departments.

Qualifications

• Must be a Junior or Senior majoring in Business, Finance, or related field.
• Eager to learn, enthusiastic, and reliable with a strong work ethic.
• Must have the ability to work a minimum of 18-20 hours per week.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Must meet our acceptable standards for criminal background history, credit history and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Ability to meet the eligibility requirements for insurance licensing in order to sell voluntary insurance products.

Responsibilities

• Learn daily branch operations and the broader organization while gaining real-world experience.
• Assist in loan origination, processing, closings and fundings including document prep and file audits.
• Learn promotional paths by spending time with managers and VPs to understand career potential.
• Attend regional meetings/workshops to gain exposure to the Branch Operations division.
• Learn about branch operations process improvement projects.
• Explore corporate roles where branch experience is valuable and review benefits of the program.
