Job summary

Republic Finance offers an on-site Branch Operations Internship for current college juniors and seniors pursuing a Finance or Business focus. Interns will learn daily branch operations, the Republic Way, and various career paths while supporting loan processes and organizational projects.

The program includes hands-on experience, leadership exposure, and potential full-time opportunities after graduation. Salary is $15.00 per hour, with benefits and professional development opportunities offered.

Qualifications

• Must be a Junior or Senior majoring in Business, Finance, or related field.
• Ideal candidates will be eager to learn, enthusiastic, and reliable with a strong work ethic.
• Must have the ability to work a minimum of 18-20 hours per week.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Must meet acceptable standards for criminal background history, credit history and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Ability to meet eligibility requirements for insurance licensing to sell voluntary insurance products.

Responsibilities

• Become licensed and go through an accelerated version of the Assistant Branch Manager Program to learn the loan process and all regulatory training.
• Assist in daily production of loan origination, processing, closings and fundings including allocating files for doc prep; auditing closed files; prep files ready to fund.
• Spend time with Manager and Regional VP learning responsibilities and promotional paths.
• Attend regional meetings/workshops to gain exposure to the Branch Operations division.
• Learn about process improvement projects within Branch Operations and related departments.
• Learn about corporate roles where Branch backgrounds are desirable; overview of benefits during the program.
