Job summary

Elevate Patient Financial Solutions is seeking a Hospital Based Bilingual Patient Advocate to guide uninsured hospital patients through Medicaid and other financial assistance programs. This onsite role involves face-to-face interaction with patients in their hospital rooms to determine eligibility and assist with applications.

Ranked for impact, Advocates screen patients at bedside, complete required paperwork, and coordinate with hospital staff and government agencies.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred; strong communication skills required.
• Experience in hospital or healthcare settings is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; Excel and Outlook emphasized.

Responsibilities

• Screen uninsured hospital patients at bedside to determine eligibility for federal, state, and county programs.
• Complete applications and follow through until approval.
• Document cases accurately in MPower and hospital systems.
• Provide exceptional customer service at all times.
• Stay current through trainings on government programs and rules.
