Elevate Patient Financial Solutions is seeking a Hospital Based Bilingual Patient Advocate to guide uninsured hospital patients through financial assistance programs. This full-time, onsite role is located at a hospital in Bryan, TX, with a Monday–Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM schedule.

You will meet patients face-to-face in their hospital rooms to identify eligibility and help them apply, in English and Spanish.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Prior hospital experience preferred
• Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish
• Ability to navigate government programs and assist with applications

Responsabilidades

• Screen uninsured hospital patients at bedside to determine eligibility for federal, state, and county programs.
• Complete applications and follow through until approved.
• Document cases accurately in MPower and hospital systems.
• Provide exceptional customer service at all times.
• Participate in ongoing trainings to stay updated on rules and programs.
• Maintain and manage the patient work queue and case load.
• Collaborate with hospital staff, case managers, social workers, and financial counselors.
• Answer calls, make outbound calls, and track all paperwork for enrollment and renewals.
