Job summary

Encore is seeking a Technician to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems in a hotel/convention environment. You will ensure guest satisfaction by delivering reliable AV service, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating with clients and staff.

The role requires a high school diploma (associate’s preferred), a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift 50 lbs. Prior hospitality or AV experience is valued.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required. Associate’s degree preferred.
• Complete training and certifications within 60 days for external candidates.
• Internal candidates must meet Encore’s training requirements via HR systems.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 1 year of AV experience or equivalent in an educational setting preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required for vehicle operation.
• Must lift 50 lbs and meet DOT requirements if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and breakdown basic audiovisual equipment as listed in qualifications.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain client relationships on site.
• Troubleshoot equipment and software issues promptly and professionally.
• Accurately complete system entries and paperwork; coordinate with vendors as needed.
