Job summary

Encore is seeking a Technician to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems in a hospitality environment. You will ensure customer satisfaction, meet with guests on site, and troubleshoot equipment issues to maintain smooth events.

The role requires a High School Diploma (Associate degree preferred) and 1 year of hospitality/AV experience. A valid driver's license may be needed for vehicle operations; ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Training completes within 60 days.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate degree preferred.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience is preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required for team members that may operate Company vehicles.
• Additional DOT requirements may need to be met if applicable.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Sets up, operates, and breaks down basic audiovisual equipment to ensure flawless events.
• Delivers exceptional customer service and maintains positive client relationships on site.
• Troubleshoots equipment and software issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Follows company processes, completes systems entry and paperwork accurately, and coordinates with staff and vendors.
• Interacts with guests to ensure their needs are met and the equipment is working correctly; processes invoices via Navigator.
