TEKsystems is seeking an experienced AV Field Service Technician to support a leading AV integration organization across Connecticut and Western Massachusetts. This role emphasizes troubleshooting, break-fix support, preventive maintenance, and customer service at client sites.

You will work independently at customer sites, handling AV systems in corporate, education, healthcare, and commercial environments, with daily travel within the territory.

Qualificações

• 3+ years of commercial AV experience.
• Experience performing AV service or break-fix troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with Crestron, Extron, Q-SYS, Biamp, or similar AV tech.
• Understanding of AV signal flow and troubleshooting methodology.
• Experience supporting conference rooms or collaboration spaces.
• Basic networking concepts (IP addressing, switches, VLANs).
• Ability to read drawings and technical documentation.
• Strong communication and customer-facing skills.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel within territory.

Responsabilidades

• Respond to AV service calls across CT and Western MA.
• Troubleshoot and repair AV systems.
• Perform break-fix on audio, video, control, and conferencing tech.
• Diagnose displays, projectors, mics, DSPs, control systems, AV-over-IP.
• Support Crestron, Q-SYS, Biamp, Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms.
• Troubleshoot rack-based systems and collaboration tech.
• Work with client IT to resolve connectivity and performance.
• Perform firmware updates and device replacements.
• Test system functionality and close tickets.
• Document troubleshooting and actions.
• Deliver professional customer service onsite.
