TEKsystems is seeking an experienced AV Service Technician to support commercial and enterprise customers in Hartford, CT. The role focuses on diagnosing and repairing Crestron/AMX systems and delivering professional, customer-facing service for conference rooms and video conferencing environments.

You will troubleshoot AV over IP, DSPs, displays, projectors, and digital signage, while following safety and maintenance procedures.

Qualificações

• 3+ years of professional AV experience.
• Strong AV troubleshooting and service experience.
• Experience with Crestron and/or AMX.
• Experience with commercial AV systems, conference rooms, or video conferencing.
• Comfortable troubleshooting Cat6, audio, video, and control systems.
• Ability to read system drawings and trace signal flow.
• Experience using a multimeter and basic hand tools.
• CTS certification is a plus, but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Troubleshoot and service commercial audio-visual systems.
• Diagnose issues with Crestron DM, Crestron NVX, and AMX systems.
• Service AV systems in conference rooms, boardrooms, and meeting spaces.
• Troubleshoot video conferencing systems.
• Work with AV over IP (AVoIP) systems.
• Troubleshoot audio systems including DSPs, amplifiers, speakers, and microphones.
• Service displays, projectors, video walls, and digital signage.
• Use a multimeter and other tools to trace wiring and connection issues.
• Perform preventative maintenance and system inspections.
• Complete service reports and document work performed.
• Work directly with customers to resolve AV issues.
• Assist and mentor less-experienced technicians when needed.
