Job summary

TRITECH Communications, Inc. is seeking an Audio Visual Break-Fix Technician to join our service team.

The role involves on-site support for complex AV systems, including control processors, DSPs, conferencing systems, projectors and video displays across customer sites nationwide. You will travel to client locations, troubleshoot issues, coordinate with the NY headquarters team and document work in reports.

Qualifications

AV networking with network switches across brands (Netgear, Cisco, Luxul).
Control systems debugging (Crestron, AMX, Extron).
DSP editing and configuring audio files (Biamp, QSC, Symetrix).
Excellent customer service and strong communication skills.
CTS and DMCE certifications are a plus.
Valid driver’s license or state ID required.
Familiarity with service ticketing systems (ConnectWise, ZenDesk, ServiceNow, Salesforce).

Responsibilities

Travel to customer sites to troubleshoot and repair AV equipment.
Coordinate schedules with the NY HQ Service Coordination team.
Enter time, notes and closeout information in ERP/CRM systems.
Liaise with manufacturers, programmers and project managers for RMAs and updates.
Act as escalation point for unresolved issues.
Transport AV gear between TRITECH warehouses and job sites.
