Job summary

TECHEAD is seeking an on-site AV Technician to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues with commercial AV systems for enterprise clients. You will travel to client sites, perform preventative maintenance, and deliver high levels of client service while maintaining system uptime.

The role requires hands-on experience with video walls, control systems, DSPs, and familiarity with Crestron, QSC, Zoom Rooms, and Microsoft Teams Rooms. Strong communication and documentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of AV support experience in a corporate/enterprise environment.
• Direct troubleshooting with video walls, control systems, and DSPs.
• Experience with Crestron and QSC systems.
• Experience with Zoom Rooms and Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTRs).
• Ability to read design drawings, cable riser diagrams, and architectural schematics.
• Hands-on experience with Dante Audio platforms.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and document AV system performance at client sites.
• Resolve hardware/software issues related to cabling (coax, ethernet, fiber).
• Perform preventative maintenance for client AV systems and conference rooms.
• Maintain toolkit and manage parts inventories for service calls.
• Deliver face-to-face exceptional client support during maintenance visits.
• Clearly communicate troubleshooting actions, next steps, and resolutions to clients.
• Coordinate resolutions with internal Engineering teams and manufacturers.
• Assist with RMAs and parts replacements for open service tickets.
• Accurately track travel time, labor, and service notes in the ticketing system.
