Job summary

Encore is seeking a Technician to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems in a hotel/convention center, ensuring guest satisfaction. You will handle setup, operation, and breakdown of equipment and coordinate with events to confirm everything runs smoothly.

This role requires a high school diploma, 1 year of hospitality or AV experience preferred, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required for team members that may operate Company vehicles.
• Additional DOT requirements may need to be met if applicable.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Equipment Operation: Ensure flawless event execution through setup, operation, and breakdown of basic equipment.
• Customer Service: Strive to exceed expectations and maintain client relationships on site.
• Technical Ability: Troubleshoot and resolve basic equipment and software issues.
• Systems Knowledge: Complete paperwork accurately and coordinate with vendors and staff.
