Cox Automotive in Indianapolis is seeking an Auction Support Specialist I to help run live auctions on-site. You will keep auction details accurate, track bids, verify vehicle and customer information, and process transactions in real time.

This role emphasizes precision and timing; you will enter bids in AS400, coordinate with the auctioneer, monitor activity, and support title processing. A high school diploma and up to 2 years’ experience are typical; on-site work and a daytime shift are

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Generally, less than 2 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

Enter lane and Simulcast bid amounts, customer data, sold units and sale lights using the AS400 system.
Partner with the auctioneer virtually to confirm vehicle and sale information is accurate.
Verify run orders to ensure the correct vehicles are being processed and sold.
Monitor Simulcast activity and communicate live updates with the auctioneer.
Provide arbitration notes and other key vehicle announcements to support the auctioneer during the sales.
Follow up on late titles via phone and email.
Support title‑absent processing using Salesforce.
Perform other duties as assigned.
