Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking an Auction Support Specialist to assist on-site with sale-day operations. The role requires accuracy in recording lane and Simulcast bids, verifying sold vehicle details, and obtaining customer signatures when needed, while supporting the auctioneer remotely as efficiencies are identified.

The position is part-time, about 15-20 hours weekly, typically Tuesday to Thursday. Spanish language skills are a plus, and the role may involve some remote tasks for efficiency.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Typically less than 2 years of experience.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Spanish reading/writing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize AS400 to record lane and Simulcast bid amounts, enter customer data, process sold units, and verify lights.
• Work with auctioneer virtually to verify system information accurately represents vehicle.
• Verify vehicle run order to ensure appropriate vehicle is being keyed and sold.
• Operate monitor virtually, review Simulcast bids with auctioneer.
• Provide arbitration and other vehicle announcements to support auctioneer.
• Call and email on late titles.
• Utilize Salesforce for title absent support.
• Respond to customer requests through various channels (phone, email, chat, tickets).
• Other duties as assigned.
