Job summary

Asset Living is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to oversee daily operations and financial functions at the housing community. You will manage rent collection, cash flow, and staff performance under the Community Manager’s supervision.

As an onsite leader, you will ensure compliance with policies, safety, and fair housing guidelines while driving leasing, maintenance, and administrative activities to meet financial goals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or two years housing industry experience.
• Ability to understand and perform onsite software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Posting all payments and income accurately, timely, and efficiently.
• Processing and reconciling daily accounts receivable.
• Monitoring bad debt and preparing late notices, resident and guarantor contact, and evictions.
• Helping the property meet budgeted revenues, expenses, and Net Operating Income.
• Posting charges to resident accounts; handling bill backs of utilities where applicable.
• Walking units and posting move-out charges, statements, and security deposits refunds.
