Job summary

The Assistant Community Manager at Asset Living oversees daily operations and financial functions of a housing community under the Community Manager. You will support rent collection, delinquency control, and cash flow while ensuring compliance with safety and fair housing guidelines.

You will supervise onsite staff, manage leasing, maintenance, and admin tasks, and help implement resident retention programs. Strong communication and basic computer skills are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or two years experience in the housing industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.
• Ability to understand and perform all onsite software functions; basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and financial functions of the housing community.
• Manage accounts receivable, rent collections, and revenue controls.
• Supervise onsite staff and leasing, maintenance, admin, risk management.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety, and fair housing guidelines.
• Plan for and utilize property resources, obtain bids and manage vendors.
