Job summary

Henkel's Adhesive Technologies Engineering team in Santa Clara, CA seeks a Resident Application Engineer to advance thermal management and electronics applications with customers globally.

You will lead roadmap discussions, develop data and white papers, and collaborate with design centers. Travel up to 25% domestically and internationally. The role emphasizes customer-facing technical leadership and solution development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering or related field.
• 5 years of directly applicable experience, preferably in the thermal management or electronics industry.
• Proven leadership, sense of urgency, and a self-starter that takes initiative.
• Extensive experience engaging customers in technical and commercial discussions.
• Willingness to support up to 25% travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Influence and contribute to strategy and tactical planning and support proliferation of break-through technologies.
• Collaborate and develop roadmap with global customer design centers and industry experts.
• Meet with key global customers at their facilities to translate/identify new opportunities.
• Develop data/white papers to promote Henkel expertise.
• Develop and manage key innovations/application development programs.
• Understand the latest technologies and impact to our business and customers.
• Proactively contribute and share best practices at multiple organizational levels.
• Quantify, document, and report Henkel solution's value to customers.
