Job summary

Henkel's Adhesive Technologies group seeks a technically driven specialist to advance market initiatives, product launches, and new applications across North America. You will lead cross-functional teams, manage lab equipment, and ensure safety protocols while delivering growth with AE support to key accounts.

Ideal candidates hold a technical Master's degree, are comfortable with up to 50% travel domestically, and have experience in adhesives, coatings, antennas, and EMI/shielding applications.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering; chemical/mechanical acceptable with electronics experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% domestically.
• Strong technical, electronic, mechanical, and chemical aptitude.
• Printing/coating experience preferred.
• Experience with adhesives, functional inks, and functional coatings preferred.
• Experience in supporting the Aerospace sector, specifically defense preferred.
• Experience with antennas, frequency selection, EMI and shielding applications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Significant technical contributor to market and application initiatives.
• Direct and deploy cross functional team to execute technical strategy at customer, including product launches, complaint management, and new application development.
• Lead technically driven PD and innovation projects for key portfolio gaps with KPI applications and markets.
• Develop necessary technical capability standards and methods for markets and applications new to Henkel.
• Own North American sourced projects and coordinate global cross regional development and commercialization.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and onsite safety protocols; training and running PE lab equipment.
• Provide direct AE support to drive growth.
• Identify unmet needs at Key Accounts and Regional/Inside Sales accounts with Sales.
• Participate in regular review of new development projects in pipeline; ensure timely AE workstreams for key initiatives: Smart Surfaces, Smart Healthcare, Antenna, Energy Storage.
• Support Business Development and Marketing to deliver financial targets.
